
Marie found this big Bird of Paradise plant on the grounds of the Mission.

Bert in part of the original San Juan Mission church. It had been ruined by an earthquake that took place while mass was being offered many years ago.

Age and Marie were down visiting Herman and his family during the same time that we were there. The four of us spent the day at San Juan Capistrano at the old San Juan Mission and then out for lunch in Capistrano. Here Marie and I are at the table just before we were leaving the restaurant.

Bert, Marie and I went partially up the mountain at the lookout where we had a lovely view of the town of Lake Elsinore.

Herman treated his family as well as us and Nick and his family for breakfast at the local Elk Club building.

Bert took some family photos and here is Peter and his daughter Courtney. Courtney works part time after school at the Dairy.

Bert and I went to visit at Nick's place after breakfast and there was a palm tree near Nick's driveway. He pointed out that there was an owl who lived in the top of that tree and that mice and rats have a tendency to live in palm trees. At the base of the palm tree we found evidence of both the owl and skulls. I
