Hello from Switzerland

I've been reading about the heat wave in Ontario and what a contrast to Davos. The snow is finally gone enough that you can go hiking higher in the mountains, but the town is in the low 20's. We had a high of 25 a week ago.

A bird in the hand....

A couple of days ago Bert found this Cedar Waxwing under the netting that is supposed to protect our strawberries from the birds. He let the bird go and then while I was picking strawberries yesterday I had to release another Cedar Waxwing. Hopefully it's not the same one!

Pancake Breakfast in Staffa

 Bert and I met up with Marie and Jake and Max at the Pancake Breakfast in Staffa a while ago.

 Great food!

It was a cool day but we all took the horse and buggy ride to the Maple Sugar Bush.
